My job as an Environmental Health Specialist takes me outside almost every day, experiencing many different aspects of Las Vegas, Nevada. This year I want to show you Las Vegas; some of my photos will be of the typical Vegas scene, some will be of things you don't see when visiting our fair city, positive and negative. The sun is so intense here in the summer that it melts the lettering on street signs. This is a sign on Carson Avenue and S. 13th Street, downtown Las Vegas.
